Seventh Framework Programme
Dossier description
The Seventh framework programme (FP7) is the primary instrument of the European Commission to realise the European Research Area. It has as its objective to stimulate research and development activities within the European Union. FP7 runs until 2013 and has a budget of over € 54 billion.
FP7 consists of four programme sections (specific programmes):
- Cooperation;
- Ideas;
- Marie Curie;
- Capacities.
